After a throughly lackluster year of blogging, I am getting a jump start on one of my New Year’s resolutions, which include (a) reading more and (b) writing more. What better way to combine the two than to reinvent Jane Speak as a reading blog? I’ll post on each book I read in 2010. I hope that as I get back into the swing of things, I’ll be inspired to post on other topics as well.
Books currently on the go: Pride and Prejudice and Zombies by Jane Austen & Seth Grahame-Smith and Reading Lolita in Tehran: A Memoir in Books by Azar Nafisi. Expect posts on these two books soon!
Next up: Stones into Schools: Promoting Peace with Books, not Bombs, in Afghanistan and Pakistan by Greg Mortenson (the author of Three Cups of Tea and one of my personal heroes).
